The Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST) proudly participated in the recently concluded CordIInnovation 2025, hosted by the Department of Science and Technology – Cordillera Administrative Region (DOST-CAR). The regional event was a premier platform to foster innovation, collaboration, and technological advancement among State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), and government agencies in the Cordillera region.

As part of the ongoing efforts of the Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges (CARASUC) to secure continued support for the third-year implementation of its regional bamboo initiative, a major milestone was accomplished on April 3, 2025, through the successful presentation and submission of the CARASUC Regional Bamboo Project 2026 at the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Central Office, Manila.

The CARASUC 2025 Festival, held on Mt. Province, from March 24 to March 28, 2025, was a whirlwind of excitement, competition, and camaraderie that left an indelible mark on the Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST).

Lagangilang, Abra – The Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST) recently concluded a highly successful two-day Faculty Development Training at its Training and Development Center. Held on January 30-31, 2025, the event was titled “TAILOR: Transforming Academic Instructions to Ladderized Outcomes by effective Reinforcements” and aimed to enhance faculty skills in curriculum development, assessment techniques, and alignment with licensure exam Test of Specification (TOS) and Program Outcomes.

QUEZON CITY, Philippines – The Abra State Institute of Science and Technology (ASIST) convened its 177th Regular Board of Trustees (BOT) Meeting on March 5, 2025, at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office in Diliman, Quezon City. The meeting, Chaired by CHED Commissioner Marita R. Canapi, served as a crucial platform for strategic discussions aimed at the continued development and efficient operation of ASIST.
