SHAPE: Specializing and Harnessing ASIST Priorities for Excellent College Instruction
Faculty members from three campuses recently participated in In-Service Training (INSET) as part of the FRAME (Faculty Re-engineering Academy for Masterclasses and Excellent College Instruction) Project, which was spearheaded by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The goal of this program, which was the first stage of the FRAME Project, was to change the way that ASIST delivered instruction by emphasizing the acquisition of new pedagogical concepts for improved college learning transfer.

In a remarkable moment of pride for Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology (ASIST), the institution has been honored with the prestigious accolade of a Top 201-300 University Ranking at the World's Universities with Real Impact (WURI) Awards. This recognition was bestowed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in a spectacular event held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City on October 6, 2023. The award was received by ASIST's esteemed Quality Assurance Director, Dr. Christopher John R. Llanda, who stood as a symbol of excellence in higher education.
